Don't be shy, We don't bite!

I really appreciate those of you who left a comment introducing yourselves, I was so excited! However, there are almost 1,000 visits in a week, That would mean my mom and dad are checking it almost constantly and I know that isn't possible, you see, they still struggle with using their speaker phone! (Sorry mom and dad, you know I still love you). So don't be shy! Please just leave a little note, I would love to know that our journey and back to Myah has touched your heart in some way. I never dreamed that adopting a daughter would be a huge opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. We are very flattered that you enjoy peaking into our lives, we really are just normal average people, who happen to have a blog! So, welcome to our blog, we are Mark, Leslie, Dayton and Myah, and you are........?

Hi Leslie:

You know I check your blog every day! Sometimes if there isn't something new when I check in the morning, I check back in the afternoon. So, there's maybe two visits a day.

Sarah and I had a great time with you guys yesterday. Can't wait to see the pictures. I know they are going to be great because you are so talented.

Glad we can keep in touch through this blog.

Love,
Sheri

Leslie -

I wanted to introduce myself. I live in Midland and have been following your blog since before you went to get Myah. My husband and I have an LID of 4/7/06 and are also using AAI as our agency. As the wait just continues to grow it is nice to follow other families that have been through this process.

Your family is so beautiful and I really enjoy your thankful Thursdays. This is a daily tradition in our home that my husband and I each have to say something we are thankful for from that day each night before bedtime. It is a great way to keep a positive attitude.

Thanks for your blog.

I introduced myself a couple days ago...I love this picture and you've inspired me to schedule an appointment with a photographer for a family picture. Poor Lindy won't have any of the three of us...

Hope you meet lots of those lurkers!

Happy Friday,
Lisa

Just me. I wanted to thank you for the call today. I had my phone on silent because I was working on my website. When I got your message I figured you were working and I didn't want to bug you at the garage sale! Hope it goes well. I'll talk to you soon! Sorry I missed you. It was nice to hear your voice on the voicemail though. :)

xoxo

Hi! I'm not really sure how I found your blog...I'm sure it was from someone else's blog! It was actually one of Myah's cute outfits that first caught my eye! :) Myah is such a pretty little girl though, I'm sure she'd look adorable in anything!

We are adopting a little girl from China as well.

Leslie,
Hello, we are Terri and Paul and we live in North Muskegon, MI. I am amazed daily at the red thread connections that this adoption journey has brought to us. I just happened upon your site and realized that we have a mutual friend, Sheri from your travel group at AAI. Through friends, we just recently met Sheri, Sarah and the boys at her parents cottage. We are also using AAI and have a LID of 4/7/07. I also noticed that another Mom-to-be in your comment section is from our group. Small world. I love your site and thank you for sharing your journey. Your family is beautiful. Sheri is right you are a very talented photographer.
Kind Regards,
Terri and Paul

Hi Leslie,
Add me to the list of adoption connections. I guess we met through Danielle when she sent me your beautiful blog as an example of her work. I am so glad she did! You do have a beautiful family. Always fun to put a face to the blog friends!

I always wonder who is reading my blog, too! Put me down for at least 7 of those visits to your blog per week - I pop on by just about every day. We'll be leaving for China very soon, and we look forward to hopefully seeing you when we get back!
