Look what I found!

Ok, the laptop is at the doctors. So I am using the computer in the basement that I never use. I was cleaning up some things on this computer and I came upon these first pictures that I ever took of Myah in our home. I had a little Kodak Easy Share camera, put her in my foyer with the natural light and this is what I ended up with. She looks little (to me) and still a little bit in shock. It has taken Myah over a year to really open her little heart to accepting us and looking back at these pictures I can really see the difference in her eyes. I had to share these with you all! We got Myah 5 days after her first birthday, this was just a few weeks later.

Oh what sweet memories! Thanks for posting these pictures. Myah does look tiny, and her hair looks short! Thankfully, the blank look in the eyes is gone and replaced with sparkling, happy eyes!

Gorgeous. Could I get you to take pictures of my girls, PLEASE? ;) My favorite is the last one, absolutely beautiful!

Okay - roadtrip - I see me, you and the girls and lots and lots of pictures!! I need you!

These are beautiful, perhaps because Myah is simply lovely, but I understand what you mean about the "look" in her eyes.

First, these pictures are gorgeous and Myah is a beauty. God has really blessed you with a gift.

While I don't know all of Myah's specific circumstances and your experiences since she's come home, I know your heart must break when you think of her first year. However, isn't it so incredible to think how far she's come and evolved since she's been with you? That's evident in the pictures you capture of her today.

So lovely~

Oh sweet Leslie, those are beautiful! I'm sure it's amazing to look back and see how she's changed and blossomed so much in such a short time!

What cute pics!! It is so special to find pics like that.

I am surprised to hear it took her a year to bond. Getting her at a year is still young so I am surprised by the year. I wonder if in another 7 months, after we have had Mia for a year, if we will look back and think the same. Now it seems like she is bonding well, but in hindsight, who knows?? THanks for sharing.

Christy :)

Leslie,
Those pictures tell a story don't they? They remind me so much of our first days with Ruby in China. God is so faithful as he builds the trust between us and our beautiful precious children. What a blessing to know what love can do. Myah clearly has blossomed from your loving kindness and spiritual gifts! I too wish I could make an appt. for a photo shoot for my girls with you! You inspire me!
Blessings for a great day!

These are beautiful Leslie. I really love them. You take such beautiful photos. Having such cute subjects does help, but I have to say that you really are extraordinarily talented.

Praying for Aunt Ginger.

Hope you're doing well. I sent you an email with a link. I made a little something for you. Let me know what you think.
