Our local library along with several others, have started a program where you can check out a free pass to visit some very nice museums in the metro area. I picked up a brochure yesterday when I took the kids to the library and I am so excited! I think you just take a pass to the counter for the particular museum that you are interested visiting that day and they give you a receipt that covers your admission! For Free! Some of my favorite museums are on this list and I can't wait to go! Go to http://www.detroitadventurepass.org/ to see if your library offers this program and also check out the great destinations.
