Yippeee!!!!  We are also celebrating that 4 years ago today we landed back here in the good ol' USA with Myah in our arms!  What a great day! 

Myah's Dance Recital

 I am way behind on journalling on here!  I will try to get caught up eventually!  Myah had her dance recital on May 14th. She did such a great job, we were so proud of her, we even tried to wave at her afterwards to get her attention before the curtain closed and she rolled her eyes and just shook her head at us like we were embarrassing her, everyone laughed!  She danced to Teddy Bear USA this year, the girls all wore red, white a blue tutus, it was really cute.  I love dressing her up!  She actually had her first tball game right afterwards so we had to leave a bit early in order to get her there on time.  I will post about that next! Grandma Phyllis got Myah butterfly larve for her birthday and they hatched over the weekend, during the party we released them into the wild. Today was Myah's 5th Birthday Party with her friends. I had it at our home, I am old fashioned that way, in my backyard garden. I have to thank my sister Melanie and my hubby for helping me put this on, things have been so crazy busy around here with Dayton's surgery and all. Last week he received a plate and screws in his tibia and 5 days of hospital stay. He is propped up in our family room and has a walker and a wheelchair, although he mostly stays off the leg until Friday when we meet again with his surgeon. So with all of the nursing going on around here Myah's party kind of got thrown together quickly. Thankfully the girls enjoyed themselves and the weather was perfect. Thanks to lots of tissue flowers, fresh peonies and cute cupcakes, her party turned out beautiful. It was so nice to have friends over for Myah, she has been a bit stir crazy with all of the sitting around the house going on, she actually fell asleep at dinner eating her pizza, we finally wore her out!!

Happy Birthday Mark and Myah

Today is probably the most crazy day that I have had in quite a while but I just had to wish Mark and Myah a very happy birthday, yesterday was Mark's and today is Myah's 5th! Unfortunately, Mark and I will be up at the hospital with Dayton while he gets his surgery today at 3:15 and Myah is spending her big day with our neighbors Ken and Pam. We will have to celebrate later. Last night my mom arrived to help me out and ended up in the hospital staying over night for breathing problems from her ashtma. She is getting discharged in a bit and will meet us at the other hospital for D's surgery. Please lift our family up in prayer, we sure need it, is has been a long weekend waiting in pain for Dayton. We are exhausted but hoping that after today he will have some relief. It was surely a Memorial Weekend! One that we will never forget!
