Mom
Today my mom retired after working for 32 1/2 year!! We are so happy for her. We should be celebrating. Should. But we are not, just yet. She is going in tomorrow to have surgery to remove the cancer that is in her body. Please pray that she heals quickly and that we can soon celebrate all that life has to offer her!!! I paid a special tribute to her on my other blog, just click here to go there!

First Day of School!!!!!
Our Kindergartner!!!
Today Myah started kindergarten!! I don't know where the past 4 years have gone! And to top it off, Dayton is now a Sophomore!! He boarded the bus at 6:30 and I had to spend the 1/2 day with her. Tomorrow is our first full day of instruction and Myah is insisting that she rides the bus. She is soooo ready for school, I don't remember Dayton ever being this "ready", is it a girl thing??? It is so fun to take her to the same school that Dayton went to, the teachers recognize us and can't get over how big Dayton has become. Speaking of him, he is still recooperating, we had a small set back with his leg and we will go to the surgeon on Friday to see what she has to say, we might have to have the plate and screws removed, or else he has a stress fracture. Poor kid has been through the mill. But he has stayed positive throughout all of it and is really excited about getting back to school, ( I think the friends/girls have something to do with that! yikes!).
So here are a few photos that I took today, gosh they sure are growing up aren't they?!!!!
I only have a few of Dayton because that is all he will allow!! It was still dark out when he left, not when I took Myah though!
She drew a whale at her table while mommy filled out paperwork
So proud to be a school girl!!!
Her teacher is brand new to the district but she is a doll!!! We are very excited about having her this year. Things are always windy up on the hill!!!

Cue the Crickets!!
Hello, anybody out there? It has been so crazy around here lately with Dayton's recovery that I just have not had time to post anything on here, nor did I have much to write about, I did do lots of cleaning and decorating while I was cooped up inside playing nurse though, that I why my other blog has received so much more attention lately. I really have some major catching up on here . So sorry to my family for making you wait so long! Anyhow, it is my goal to get caught up before I turn the big 4-0 in 12 days! Oh my!!! Actually turning this milestone has really motivated me to do lots of things lately! So here goes our life in a nutshell:
Myah celebrated her bday at preschool, she was the last one of the year!
Cousin Dylan entered the family, cousin Sheri did a great job!
Myah graduated from preschool and is ready for kindergarten!
Not so sure mommy is though!
Myah and Whitney sat through many hot baseball games watching their big brothers!
Our nephew Taylor collected a ton of awards at the end of his high school career, we were so proud of him, can't believe he is going off to college!
This was taken while he was watching Taylor play, just 2 days before he broke his tibia.
Next thing we knew, this was our life for 8 weeks! Sorry for the quality, this was after an ambulance ride, notice how they cut his ball pants up :( He still has his uniform on.
Uncle Scott got a huge promotion and is up and moving the family to Iowa, we are so sad but happy for him!
We had lots of visitors while Dayton was laid up.
Uncle Eric is in love with Jody!
Sarah and Myah on our 4 year Forever Family Day, they came over our way to celebrate.
Yikes!!!
Melissa and Jason invited us over for a day of R&R, so nice!! Swimming in the pool, pontoon ride, bonfire, fishing, just what we needed, we have been so cooped up!
Not the greatest picture but this is proof that Dayton is officially taller than Nate!
Uncle Mark with the graduate Taylor at his party.
Dayton's second outing, Brielle's bday party!
Cousin Ashely delivered her sweet little girl Ella! We can't wait to meet her!
Just had to throw this one in, this was Myah's picture for her bday invite.
Our little slugger rounding the bases
She has no fear!!!
Sorry for the crummy pics but I am rushing to get this on! Hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into our crazy life. Dayton can now walk on his leg as of last Monday. He is done with the home physical therapy and starts going to the clinic this week. He is getting stronger every day. Still no running or jumping for 4 weeks. We are ready to finally enjoy our summer!

The training wheels are off, and so is she!
Getting some last minute advice from Daddy
She did great right from the start!
Dayton even got out for a bit in his new set of wheels
Could anything else on her be crooked?!
She is a pro now!
Yippeee!!!! We are also celebrating that 4 years ago today we landed back here in the good ol' USA with Myah in our arms! What a great day!

Myah's Dance Recital
I am way behind on journalling on here! I will try to get caught up eventually! Myah had her dance recital on May 14th. She did such a great job, we were so proud of her, we even tried to wave at her afterwards to get her attention before the curtain closed and she rolled her eyes and just shook her head at us like we were embarrassing her, everyone laughed! She danced to Teddy Bear USA this year, the girls all wore red, white a blue tutus, it was really cute. I love dressing her up! She actually had her first tball game right afterwards so we had to leave a bit early in order to get her there on time. I will post about that next! Here are a few images from our tiny dancer and by the way we are playing one of her favorite songs on here in her honor!
